Review of Travis Scott: Look Mom I Can Fly (2019) by Jkhan — 31 Aug 2019
This is not your everyday documentary. It is one long, psychedelic ride into moments of Travis Scotts life over the last couple years. Covering mainly the Astroworld era, this frantically edited and artsy visual portrays Travis Scott as a superstar who loves to put on high energy concerts.
I never knew who Travis Scott was, but this documentary made me a fan. There is just something behind this unorganized compilation of clips that makes this a very original concept. I have never seen a documentary quite like this one.
I really hope this gets an Oscar nomination for just how different and artistic this documentary is.
