Review of Trash Dance (2012) by Austin C — 29 Jun 2014
Quite simply, this movie has got it all. You couldn't script the real-life stories of characters in a fictional movie and get anywhere close to the true emotion of the men and women who make this documentary work.
Forklift Danceworks' efforts in the City of Austin to incorporate everyday movement and everyday people into "modern dance" has been nothing short of a industry-shaking revelation. Director Andrew Garrison captured the people, the practice, and the performance incredibly.
