Review of Trash (2014) by Richard S — 19 Sep 2015

Adapted from a young adult novel, this is a surprisingly dark story of survival in the slums and on the streets of Rio De Janeiro. 3 kids find a wallet and some incriminating evidence against a local politician and then the rest of the film is a race against time to collect the pieces of the puzzle and get the evidence out there before the corrupt local police force can catch them.

All 3 leads are brilliant considering non of them are professional actors plus the bad guy was top notch, very tense film.
