Review of TransSiberian (2008) by Stephen C — 16 Mar 2009
Sesibel and taut thriller with plenty to recommend it especially the beatiful sceneryand some quality acting.
The whole film has a very Hitchcock type feel ,and hey thats no bad thing in my view.
Mortimer is brill as the woman who events conspire against as her and Harrelson (excellent) travel deeper and deeper into Russia.
Kingsley and Krectmann are on good form here as the 2 dodgy policemen and Brad Anderson keeps you guessing right up to the finale.
My only question is why this film never got a big release in the UK as its 15 times better than most shitty American Thrillers.
A small gem and ones which deserves a bigger audience.
