Review of TransSiberian (2008) by Prasad P — 05 Apr 2009
Every so often we run out of films in our Netflix queue and I go trolling for movies to add. It's an iffy, chancy game that more often than not gives us losers. This movie was the exception. It turned out to be well acted, with an interesting story.
With one exception, the train wreck toward the end, it was believable. Harrelson was good as the sort of geeky, train-loving American husband who insists that he and his wife return to the US from a missionary trip via the trans-Siberian railroad.
Kingsley was very good as the Russian rogue cop.
