Review of TransSiberian (2008) by Daniel M — 23 Apr 2009
This movie reminded me somewhat of a later Alfred Hitchcock thriller. There are many twists and turns in here that will keep you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end. The acting is convincing, and most of the characters are likable.
Though I couldn't help but not have any rooting interest in the Mortimer character, I was hoping she would get caught. The movie is intense, and forms into a nail biter, but the third act seemed to fall a bit short because of it's unrealistic twist that just isn't believable.
But it is a strong effort, and a solid thriller so if your in the mood for a modern day Hitchcock-esque suspenser, than this would be one to check out.
