Review of TransSiberian (2008) by Iamana M — 26 Apr 2009
Woody harrelson is too much of the stereotype goofy american (why didn't he just stay lost/dead?) and this miscasting leads away the focus of the other very strong performances. Because the threesome that was left was just GREAT.
The persistance of the director (or maybe the evil marketing people) to keep a (transsiberian) train in the lead role until the end is a bit far fetched and doesn't do the movie a lot of good. But hey, we took the transsiberian, it was cold outside but inside the train we were safe and it took us places.
Always a positive thing to stay on the move.
