Review of TransSiberian (2008) by Y.k. G — 22 Jul 2009
Top-notch directing and superb performances from all around (particularly from a rather impressive Woody Harrelson). It takes its time in building up the suspense, but when it hits the main twist, it pivots on two themes primary in Hitchcock thrillers: the classic murder cover-up, and the tourist's mix-up (ie.
The Man Who Knew Too Much). And like Hitchcock's classics, Transsiberian is quite simply a Grade A thriller.
