Review of TransSiberian (2008) by Aidan H — 11 Mar 2010
The real reason to watch this movie is the scenery. Emily Mortimer, however, is a great actress here. She adds a kind of Hitchcockian element to the movie, and she really got me interested in it. Ben Kingsley also was great, but that's a given pretty much.
His character was great, and I'm completely in awe of his ability to play any race with conviction. Transsiberian went places that I didn't see it going, which was great. Unfortunately, Woody Harrelson really distracted me from the movie.
He was just too goofy, which hurt Mortimer's and Kingsley's ability to hold the movie.
