Review of TransSiberian (2008) by Tom K — 27 Mar 2011
An intense, but predictable thriller set on a train in desolate Siberia. I liked this one. Woody Harrelson and Ben Kingsley were splendid: good actors made believable their characters of a naive American and Russian cop.
Eduardo Noriega as Carlos was a terrific character: suave and handsome, yet beneath, a dark and creepy predator. The only one I have issue with is the character of Jessie. I feel she needed more development to really understand her fears and motives for her actions.
Definitely a good thriller to check out. Reminds you of the dangers of talking to strangers!
