Transporter 3 (2008).

Jason Statham reprises his role of Frank Martin, a no-questions-asked courier with a history of not following his own rules. His friend, Inspector Tarconi (François Berléand) is back as his thankless support staff. This movie starts with a cargo ship secretly carrying toxic pollutants trying to dock in France.

An international environmental pollution inspector Leonid Vasilev (Jeroen Krabbeé) is contacted by a psycotic American, Johnson (Robert Knepper) saying that they have kidnapped his wild daughter, Valentina (Natalya Rudakova) and that he needs to sign away his inspections if he ever wants to see her again.

Johnson has placed an elaborate explosive bracelet on Frank's and Valentina's wrists set to automatically explode if they wonder too far away from the car. He's pretty much forced Frank to drive Valentina all over Europe. Wouldn't it have been a lot cheaper and safer to just handcuff her to a toilet in a Ukranian tenement somewhere? Oh well, this is the kind of movie where you need to not think of the pesky plot holes and just enjoy the action.

Of course the trademark of Transporter is the fantastic stunts, car chases, and elaborate fight choreography, and this one is no different. A lot of people aren't as excited about Valentina as the love interest, but she holds her own to Frank's topless scenes.

It's not great, but it is a fun movie night in front of the TV.
