Review of Transporter 3 (2008) by Jonny B — 03 May 2012

I have to say all of the Transporter films, including this one, have been very exciting to watch. Statham is perfectly cast and Francois Berleand as Inspector Tarconi is a very humerous character; my only problem is the lack of originality is beginning to now show.

In theory, Transporter 2 was similar to The Transporter in so many ways but the originality was still intact because there had only been two films. It is when two becomes three and so on that if the story lines are following the same route, then its time for a change!

Frank (Statham) is back as the bloody fighting transporter, this time unintentionally as he is threatened to accept the deed or he will explode through a bomb that has been triggered into his body. It restricts him within 75 feet of the car he is assigned to accomplish the deed in. Frank is partnered in this task with Russian Valentina (Natalya Rudakova) who begins to grow a crush on the bald headed single man.

If already the plot sounds a little familiar you wouldn't be lying; their is a lack of ideas from Transporter movies now. Again a good action flick but just not enough if you have seen the first two movies. Perhaps it's time to transport this franchise to the exit.
