Review of Transporter 2 (2005) by Terry C — 01 Jul 2009
I wish I could rate this fun, explosive thriller higher. Part of me was worried that, as Stallone, Van Damme, and Seagal age, the era of cheap but entertaining action films had come to an end. Enter Statham and this series, which easily surpasses much of the fare of even the aforementioned action hero greats.
Statham easily combines one part Jackie Chan with one part Steve McQueen to make a flick that proves that the days of dynamite action movies are far from over.
