Review of Transporter 2 (2005) by Jonny B — 03 May 2012
He's back the names Martin, Frank Martin, it may not be Bond but it's as closer B-Movie flick as they come!
This time the lethal transporter (Statham) is now not driving hooligans off of sky-scrapers, he's playing driving butler for a wealthy family who suddenly lose their six year old son (Hunter Clary) to evil kidnappers. Because Frank has bonded so nicely with the youngster, he feels even more determined to bring him back home to his parents and his violent transporter ways return.
For a sequel with seemingly very little to offer, Transporter 2 again does a very fine job of delivering the goods. Like I have stated with the predecessor, Transporter films aren't brilliant or terrible, they are just good, simple flicks to enjoy after a hard day of graft!
