Review of Transporter 2 (2005) by Lesmiserables — 31 Aug 2022
The first Transporter movie is one of my favorite action movies of all time and I've re-watched it countless times . The sequels though are both unfortunately horrendous and the only thing keeping this trash semi-watchable is Jason Statham who's talents are wasted and have been wasted in a lot of films of similar quality .
Where the first movie triumphed was in it's believability and slightly more down to earth approach and all of that goes out the window in the sequel as Frank now deals with terrorists and a super duper virus that will kill everyone . The villains are awful , The action scenes are bad , The writing is embarrassing and the CGI made me burst out laughing as I closed the film after watching the helicopter part .
Simply atrocious and I don't know HOW I liked it when I was younger . Also it's worth keeping in mind that the third film is actually WORSE ...
