The plot of Transformers: The Last Knight wasn't about all the explosions and action like the previous films were, although it did have its fair share. It was more about the way that humans have treated and abandoned the transformers after they saved them countless times.
It tells the story of how Earth and cybertonian life supported eathother even in the medieval ages and how that had affected the human race even to modern day. Not only that, it shows the power in friendship as the autobots and a few humans band together to protect what they love.
