Review of Transformers: The Last Knight (2017) by Peteralexander — 16 Jul 2017
The Last Knight follows the series formula, unfortunately it remains a losing formula. Bar the opening sequence, and an almost entertaining battle at Stonehenge, the film is a mess. After what is a surprisingly exciting battle scene, the film inevitably spirals into incoherency as soon as the human characters start talking.
The dialogue is even more cringe worthy than in previous instalments. With the opening half hour introducing what seemed to be six disinteresting main characters and story-arcs, I was lost from the very start.
