Review of Transformers: The Last Knight (2017) by Wendy W — 01 Sep 2018
Incredibly stupid and unbelievably corny, 'Transformers: The Last Knight' is poorly written in pretty much every -- plot, characters, dialogue - and ends up being a messy, noisy, hectic mess of a film that is all over the place, not just visually (which, you guessed it, consists mostly a hell of a lot of things being blown up).
I mean, what did we expect, really? That 1 star is for the opening sequence (which was something new, at least, and I would rather have watched a medieval film about the Knights of the Round Table than what we actually got), as well as the final act which, although predictable and stupid, had a few cool moments.
Anyway, it's basically terrible.
