Review of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009) by James W — 31 Oct 2013
The story is weak and most the humour is corny but in all honesty I don't really care as Revenge Of The Fallen delivers incredible action and more mind blowing visual effects than the first film, this is the most destructive Transformers movie and probably the most chaos filled movie ever, even if it does get messy.
The last act is off the scale, it's huge and although Bay forgets to lay a story in this scene the carnage is just so mad it's easy enough to forget the absence of plot here. Michael Bay rigs a whole desert with explosives, Decepticons, guns and military madness, all mashed into one huge literal mega bomb.
I love the cast, they are as fun as ever plus Kevin Dunn and Julie White are the funniest parents in a movie. The highlight of the film for me though has to be Isabel Lucas' short appearance as Alice, a Decepticon in human disguise out to get Sam Witwicky.
She's so sexy and once she transforms you won't believe your eyes, I wish they extender her part and made her a key character. In one sentence all I can is Michael Bay you're awesome.
