Review of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009) by Sam S — 01 Jul 2014
Horrible abomination to man kind. the story isn't new around, it's just repeating the plot of the first movie, the Autobots are just stopping the Decepticons that's it. Michael bay still makes the humans the main characters and not the robots, which the robot characters should be the main characters, they are supporting characters in their own franchise.
there are way too many comic reliefs like, Sam's parents, Leo, skids and mudflaps, wheelie, Rainn wilson, John turturro, and Galloway. the humor sucks beyond belief, Bay trying to be kevin smith. the acting from the humans are bad.
plot holes are in this movie like the Autobots were with Optimus at one point but, they disappear when optimus is fighting in the woods. This movie doesn't have the guts to be dark at parts like optimus and Shia dying because, if you kill them off especially optimus the franchise is done.
the action scenes are whatever to me because, why should care about any of the characters? The last big action scene goes on way too long. avoid this movie like the plague.
