Great sequels develop and expand on the premise of their predecessors. Sadly, Revenge of the Fallen falls cobsiderably short of doing so. Spoilt by too many characters with too little screen time ('Jolt' even appears out of nowhere pirely as a plot device).

Annoying additions (Twins) could have been left out entirely. One interesting concept sees several robots join to form a much larger being but this character is underused. A film only for absolute fans and even then ones who are willing to take a lot on the chin to get to film 3.
