In all fairness, when I first watched this in the cinema as a 13 year old boy, who fits right into the ideal target audience for this film, I loved it. Megan Fox and some great action, what's not to like, right? Its only when I recently watched it that I realized what a lazy attempt and shameless cash grab this movie is.
The plot is ridiculous and even if you go along with the "leave your brain aside" mentality, its hard to enjoy 150 minutes of low brow humor and excessive time spent with human character's that have gone from being sort of likeable in the first film to just plain annoying in this one.
The movie's redeeming quality is of course the action sequences and visual finesse. And also, all said and done, I will give it credit for appealing to the 13 year old me, cause afterall, that's who this movie was made for.
