Review of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009) by Zachary P — 11 Mar 2014
Thoughts:
- Slo-mo? Go away.
- "Is this your way of keeping me interested?" "It might be." "I hate that it's working." Hoo boy.
- President says Transformers need to leave Earth. Guess president of the US is also president of the world.
- Stars never move, apparently.
- Some fighting in the desert. Can't say much more.
- I actually care about what John Turturro is doing.
- Kid died. Whatever.
- Matrix is earned not gotten. I guess Transformers use magic now.
- Prime back now, so Decepticons automatically lose.
- "You're welcome. Thank you for believing in me." Pffft.
I really wanted to like this. There was a bunch to like in the first one, and even a bunch in the first part of this one. By the end, though, it was not dislike but sheer not-caring that gripped my soul. If 3 or 4 turn out OK, will probably include in future marathons. Otherwise, will probably never see again.
