Review of Transformers: Dark of the Moon (2011) by Liam M — 22 Nov 2013
This was the best out of all three Michael Bay Transformers films. Although it had the most epic fights, most epic brutal deaths, and most awesome memorable scenes unfortunetly in the end it still had some minor flaws. They include more useless characters like Wheeljack now known as Que in this installment who was only included to be another new character and one of the characters on the good side who would be killed off.
He was like the Arcee Triplets in Revenge of the Fallen who we're put in movie for those exact reasons. I also got really confused of what was happening because they're was about 10 or 11 things going on at the same time in the part of the battle where Sam and his allies are almost going to fall out of the collapsing building.
The last thing that bugged me is it took about 10 or 20 minutes for the damn building the humans we're trapped in to collapse which bored me till the point I wanted to fall asleep. I loved the small comedic parts like when Bumblebee is astonished by Sam's new girlfriend Carly's beautifal bombshell body and the fact that she was total eye candy just like Megan Fox is.
The other epic parts of this movie we're the humans using the Cybertronion weapons to kill the major members of the Decepticons. I would've liked if one of the major new villains wasne't killed off in a matter of minutes though. You'll be disappointed on how fast some of the major badguys are killed off as well as some of the major goodguys.
The CGI was one hundred times better then it was done in Revenge of the Fallen and every new goodguy an badguy looked almost real. I can't wait to see if the next installment is a prequel. I really hope they end the series with a three part prequel story as well.
I highly recommend seeing this installment in theaters, because it's the best way of seeing it. Please don't wait till it comes out on Blu-Ray and DVD to see it,because you'll regret not seeing it in theaters.
