Review of Transformers: Dark of the Moon (2011) by Max H — 26 Jun 2014

Easily the best of the series, which is no difficult feat by any means, but delivers on ever wish made by your 8-year-old self concerning Giant F**king Robots. Beginning on an intriguing hook and not stopping, this mammoth 2 1/2 hour ride is quite impressive in 3D, allowing untold bits of debris to fly out at you. However it's not totally necessary, but give it the benefit of the doubt since it took the trouble to be filmed in 3D, which is a welcome change compared to crappy post-conversion as of late. Hell, the 3D has actually helped, because it forced Michael Bay to hold a shot for more than a nano-second which improves everything he focuses on. Filled with great and quirky new supporting characters and less of everything you hated about 'Revenge of the Fallen', this one fills the screen with organized chaos and betrayal and accomplishes what Michael Bay hadn't yet achieved: actual concern for the fate of an artificial character.

And no, I don't mean Megan Fox.
