Review of Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014) by Christian H — 26 Jan 2015
The good, the bad and the ugly points about Transformers: Age of Extinction.
The Good points.
1. Dinobots Rock.
2. Mark Wahlberg best out of the humans.
3. Steve Jablonskys score (music).
4. Lockdown Badass.
5. Slight dark tone.
6. Bumblebee Kickass.
7. The Visual Effects.
8. The action and fighting scenes.
The Bad points.
1. Lack of screen time for the Dinobots.
2. Man-made Transformers??
3. Galvatron was never made by humans.
4. The Story.
5. The Acting.
6. The Direction.
7. The Script.
8. The Grammar (some parts of the script in the film didn't make sense).
9. The humans are extremely dull.
10. The Cast line-up (expect Mark Wahlberg).
11. TOO MANY UNNECESSARY EXPLOSIONS.
12. Very predictable (in terms of set stages).
13. Imagine Dragons are rubbish.
14. Character Development wasn't ideal (some of the robot characters were not develop properly and one of them didn't even explain why he change sides in the first place (that character was Drift)).
The Ugly points.
1. The dinobots look a bit depressing.
2. Frank Welkers voice (who portrayed the voice of Galavtron) is awful.
3. Galvatron looks hideous.
4. Jack Renyor (Shane) is horrible and was a real wuss.
5. Nicola Peltz (Tessa Yeader) is a Michael Bayafile (which means she's only in the film for her looks).
Overall.
The film was alright but it would have been better if Michael Bay didn't direct it in the first place.
