Review of Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014) by Xavier C — 31 Jan 2015
Terrible. The story is a mess. It is all over the place and doesn't make any sense, and certain things are clearly just thrown in so they could be in the trailers. It goes on too long for sure.
I hated not being able to remember the names of any of the new Transformers because they had no proper introduction, and their personalities are all so paper thin. At least their designs look cool, which I can't say for the rest of the movie. The films that came before in the series were at least cool to look at, but the appeal of bright explosions with white flares coming out of them is really wearing thin at this point. I fell asleep about 90 minutes in.
