Review of Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014) by William M — 26 Dec 2014
(37/100).
Too much story than is necessary, too many characters and too much fight scenes result in an overbloated mess that drags on for way too much. And it really, really drags, I wanted it to be over really bad because my brain started to hurt. I can buy the Transformers aspect, the fact that they were created and all, but where you lose me and most of the audience is with mechanical space dinosaurs that Optimus Prime rides on. I'm telling you, a bunch of guys were sitting around a table and were saying: "What would look cool? What's going to sell the most toys?". This is not purely a corporate product with no real passion put into it. Overall, the worst one out of the franchise so far and it angers me it made so much money.
