Review of Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014) by Andres M — 06 Aug 2015
Just your average action flick, with thin plot, cheesy dialogue, tons of CGI and explosions,. It is mostly what you would would expect from a Michael Bay film, and it should have been better.
I was expecting to hate this film in a way, as I thought it was going to be the same thing: the AutoBots come back to fight the Decepticons who want revenge from the previous film, and rehash the last film, like what the 3rd film did.
It is the same thing like last time, except this time, they must join together to fight and destroy man-made transformers. It had good action scenes, but the cast is still bland, and the film did nothing to improve on it's formula.
Despite some good CGI and some shinning moments. Age of Extinction is another loud, thinly written, Michael Bay cash grab for the teens.
