Review of Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014) by Basil M — 15 Oct 2015
When I heard that the entire cast will be replaced and the dinobots will be added, I was hyped. The trailers were also great, showing that this time Bay would correct his mistakes. Somehow this managed to be the worst of the franchise.
The script is so incoherent and the action is wooden. There's a bombarded of slow motion action scenes and explosions again. The worst part though, is that the dinobots don't show up until the end and it's only for like 15 minutes.
Every piece of marketing involved the dinobots, but they're barely even in the film. There's also so much products placement that it's sickening.
