Review of Transformers (2007) by Garda D — 14 Apr 2014
The diet went well.
Its hard not to feel weird when you watch the 1984 cartoon first before the movie. Jazz (and many others) loses weights, Ironhide got a paint job and now Bumblebee loses his horn, but there is no need to compare it to the animated, its a different thing now.
There are only few things that are good here, the CGI and effects that's it. The plot are boring and the acting are bad.
Let's start by the CGI and special effects, It was simply breathtaking. I really love the new designs,it is beautifully designed and looks very detailed in the smallest thing and finally a robot villain that actually looks menacing and scary. The special effects are pretty good as well but too much explosives and sometimes the camera angles when the robots fighting are bad.
The plot was meh. Its about Autobots and Decepticon fighting for a cube called Allsparks that has a great power and needed to get destroyed before It goes to the wrong hand. It basically is the same storyline as the cartoon or cartoon movie so no surprise, but Its good for people who are new to Transfomer. The character was okay, Shia LaBeouf was a bad actor.
Great effects and the breathtaking robot designs, CGI and fights are the best thing in this movie, Others? Nothing surprising or interesting.
