Review of Transformers (2007) by Tristan M — 14 Mar 2015
This is the perfect movie to be made my Michael Bay, and isn't a bad concept at all. But right from the beginning it's based on kids toys, but is rated somewhat high for the audience it's meant for.
Overall the plot isn't terrible, its about aliens and based on action figures so can't complain too much. Acting and script can be complained about, as can the dumb humour. The film has the typical Michael Bay style of explosions, massive amounts of CGI, and plenty of attractive women.
It has massive budget also, and it shows, also thumbs up to Bay for the very well done CGI. The robots look good, but watching them fight and some other scenes with them are just so confusing to just what is going on.
It has it's moments, good and bad, but for the most part it is just over the top in action, complex plot, CGI and effects, which isn't a surprise given the story and director.
