Review of Transformers (2007) by Denver R — 31 Dec 2013

While it's far too violent and mature of a film to be based off of a line of children's toys, Bay's "Transformers" still manages to excite audiences with its visual dazzle and exhilarating action sequences.

But let's be honest here: That's the only appealing thing to be found in this film. The story is average, the acting is just barely above Hollywood cheese, and the script is as corny as they come.

If it weren't for the fact that it's terribly fun to watch these robots destroy each other, I would've given it less than three stars.
