Story.

The interstellar battle between the Autobots and Decepticons rains destruction down on planet Earth as director Michael Bay adapts Hasbro and Takara's popular Transformers franchise into a big-budget, live-action summer tentpole extravaganza in this ambitious sci-fi action feature starring Shia LaBeouf, Tyrese Gibson, Bernie Mac, John Turturro, Jon Voight, and, of course, Optimus Prime and Megatron. Long ago, on the planet of Cybertron, a massive, powerful alien race divided into two factions,Ã,Ã, the noble Autobots, and the devious Decepticons. They fought for the sole access to a talisman known as the Allspark, a cube with the capacity to grant infinite power, and eventually the Autobots smuggled it off the planet's surface, hiding it in an unknown location on Earth. Now, hundreds of years later, the Deceptacons have come looking for it, and if the Autobots don't find it first, the Earth will be enslaved or destroyed by the evil aliens' use of its massive power. The Autobots don't know where the cube was hidden, but the information may be stored in the most unlikely of sources, as a gangly young Earthling named Sam Witwicky (LaBeouf) who's just picked up his first car, has a strange connection to the Allspark's history, making him the unlikely ally of these enormous creatures, as they fight for humankind's survival and the chance to return home.

Cast.

The Humans.

Shia LaBeouf as Sam Witwicky - While he wasn't bad in the first movie, he was a still big miscast, still annoying.

Megan Fox as Mikaela Banes - another miscast she was only casted to be something to look at, but she wasn't bad in the first one but its not believable for her to fall in love with a guy like Shia.

The Parents were awful just god awful...

The Secret Agent wasnt bad in the first movie until 2nd and 3rd movies.

Josh Duhmel and Tyrese Gibson were the only human characters I liked in the movie they both worked well together.

Transformers.

Autobots.

Peter Cullen as Optimus Prime - having the original voice of Prime is awesome and Legendary and Optimus is just a badass.

Mark Ryan as Bumblebee - Bumblebee not talking in the first was alright and understandable. Having him talk at the end was awesome... Until we move on the future movies, but still a badass.

Jazz was awesome until he died...

Ratchet was alright.

Ironhide is a complete badass.

Decepticons.

Hugo Weaving as Megatron - Megatron was a monster in this movie and he made me hate him when he killed Jazz lol XD.

Starscream was good until he was never shown in the movie again lol.

Barricade was cool and never shown again XD.

The other Decepticons were just cool to see get killed.

The soundtrack was good.

The cinematography is awful cause yoy could barley see whats going on in the big action scenes.

Overall: With Awesome fights, Barely flat characters, great soundtrack, awful camera work from awful director.. Its still a decent popcorn movie.

Overall Grade: C+.
