Transformers is one of those summer block busters that is well performed at the box office, but is poorly mixed received by critics. However this was something that we the audience have never seen before.

An all out giant fighting robot movie that was never introduce in live action movies. It was always done in japanese animated films. The way it was portrayed in live action was pretty impressive in Michael Bays Transformers.

It makes me think there real to me. I haven't really watch the original Transformer animated that it was based off of, but I did watch an anime like series of Transformers that was on Toonami. The story is simply like the animated series with the Autobots and Decepticans fighting each other on Earth.

Sounds simple enough, but how does that help a tone of sub plots told through the uninteresting human characters cast like Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox, Josh Duhamel, and Optimus Prime original voice actor Peter Cullen.

The problem with the story is that the human sub plot is lazy and uninteresting to watch. They never revealed Optimus Prime and the other Autobots in the beginning of the film, it starts off with the all annoying human casts in the beginning.

Though annoying at times, there are some funny moments that I actually laugh at. Even if it was silly at times. Another problem with the human story is the three sub plots. One is about the typical Sam Witwicky high school life on trying to get laid by Mikaela Banes while finding out more on the Transformers through his new Autobot car Bumblebee, the second subplot is Sergeant Lennox fighting against the Decepticons and the last subplot is just a typical Government story with Maggie Madsen trying to find clues about this virus that the Deception sent on Earth.

None of these subplots are interesting at all. What if Shia and Josh's characters were brothers, that would alot interesting to hear about than splitting three plots up. I also wish that the movie would mostly focus on the Transformers than the human characters.

This doesn't excuse the good things about this movie. The action in this movie kicks-ass. Its the reason why people watched this movie and Meagan Fox. Its glad to see this movie get nominated for best Visual Effect at the Oscar.

Fast past, stunning and unbelievable to watch for the first time in robot movies. Transformers might be Michael Bays least awful movie to date.
