Lets just say it as its no surprise: transformers is not a great movie. But its not entirely bad either. Its acceptable. In michael bay terms its like getting 9/10 stars. Pros? Its light-hearted and means well, the special effects are top notch and character develpomemt is somewhat explored more deeply.

Cons? The acting is wishy washy and as usual bay's direction is muddled and the plot is like shoving a brain-dead koala through your ears just to get the stupidity of the film to go away. Definitely one of bays better efforts, just not an entirely good effort.

But an acceptable action film nonetheless.
