Metal smashing against metal, annoying editing, crunchy sound effects, overly patriotic. I don't know why I enjoyed this movie as a kid. Every single thing that appears in this movie is a cliche. You could argue that the action is good but you can't even tell what is going on.
The camera is all over the place, the lighting is seizure-inducing and the transformers fighting is just a mess of scraping sounds, things breaking and crazy nonsense being flashed in your face and the pace is so fast that you can't even keep up with what is exploding all over the screen.
Just a very weak film.
