Review of Transcendence (2014) by Olli H — 03 Aug 2014
While it does peak interest with it's views of human evolution via machines & our fear of the unknown, "Transcendence" is essiantially very shapeless film. The story goes on with it's one track and so it remains without twists, surprises or the defining moments when it should have become more than what it was boasting about.
All very plain, even acting even though cast was made from very fine actors. Cinematography though was very fine but that was to be expected from the first time director Wally Pfister, who is an award winning cinematographer.
