Not the total disaster the reviews say it is but it is still rather unexciting and underwhelming even though I acknowledge a decent concept behind the script but the narrative feels predictable and frustrating to watch.
The ensemble is miscasted and less than engaging, even the usually dependable Depp seems over-subdued and ineffective here. Cinematography is great though, the pacing not so much.
