Review of Transcendence (2014) by Isaac T — 27 Nov 2014

Wow! This was a great movie and I think a lot of themes goes straight over the head for most people. For me it was an amazingly awesome and sad movie. It shows what happens when science develops to a point where it could help us all and connect us in ways that we never thought possible.

But paranoia and fear of humanity becomes the antagonists of the film. Instead of trying to be open-minded and understanding, humanity begins to attack and destroy. And the chance of a utopia fades away because of ignorance.

Perfectly, describing humanity of how we are now. The knowledge is out there, the people with good hearts are here, but the forces that be will not allow us to connect and progress in the speed that we want.

Humanity is too full with hatred, ignorance and fear. If you're a peaceful person who understands that science is just a tool and a person can do miraculous things with it then you'll like this film a lot.

If you're not that type of person then you're probably one of the negative critics below. Thanks to all those involved in this film! Personally, at no point did I side with or felt sympathy with anyone who worked against AI.

I don't know if the film attempted to convince me to be part of their side but I thought they were all ignorant idiots.
