Although I really enjoyed the thought behind the potential of the relationships between humans and technology, the script makes absolutely no sense at times (when explaining even simple technology) and is painfully slow.
Also, to cast Johnny Depp and have him play an almost monotone robot for the entire movie is a bit of a waste.
