Ok movie. While the premise is intriguing and thought-provoking, the movie itself doesn't do it justice. The time progression between key events is very confusing, the visuals are spectacular, but the performances are not that good, Bettany and Hall giving great performances, Freeman a good performance, but Depp's felt lazy.
It didn't feel like he had to put a lot of effort into the role. The ending feels predictable, and it contradicts Bettany's opening narration.
