Review of Transamerica (2005) by Mélanie S — 19 Feb 2008

After I finished this movie, I spent an inordinate amount of time trying to figure out if I loved it or if I thought it was the single most messed up piece of cinematography i've ever seen. i've reached a happy medium.

Felicity huffman deserves pretty much all the praise she gets for her role as transsexual bree. kevin zegers was hands down amazing in a role that couldn't have been easy to make believable, or likeable. it was a lot darker and a lot grittier than I expected, but I was sad to see it end anyway.
