I rate it four stars for Felicity Huffman's powerful performance. There was a scene she cries like Russell Crowe in Gladiator.
The excellent screenplay, the family value and the messages from the film are those that must not be missed!
Felicity Huffman's performance has earned her a Golden Globe and Independent Spirit Award, also nominated for Oscar & Screen Actors Guild.
Dolly Parton's 'Travellin' Thru" have been nominated for Best Achievement in Music Written for Motion Pictures, Original Song of Academy Awards, Golden Globe and Grammy Awards.
The film also won Reader Jury of the "Siegessäule" in Berlin Film Festival.
Rated 3 stars by Roger Ebert.
