Review of Transamerica (2005) by Luke B — 16 Dec 2008
This movie was awesome! It's sad to see, that there's so many who doesn't want to see this film. What are they scard of? That after the movie, they might actually think differently about transsexual? I think everyone should see this film, not only because it tells about transsexuals, but because this film has a good plot, believable characters and funny moments.
I think Felicity Huffman does amazing job as Stanley, who's now become Bree, thanks to hormones and plasticsurgeons. She's so beliavable in her role, that I actually thought she was a he, who wants to be a she. Isn't it twisted?
Kevin Zegers was kinda sweet as Toby. He had a rought childhood and his mates weren't as good as they could have been. So they made a fine couple with Bree - they both had their difficulties in life, but with each other I think they'll be just fine. I want to believe so.
This is a fine movie. Everyone should see this.
