Review of Transamerica (2005) by Mark L — 23 May 2009

I liked it a lot more than I thought I was going to, but something bugged me about a woman playing the lead role, but Ms. Huffman is amazing! The end didn't leave me feeling all sweet and fuzzy inside (which is the case with most indi films), but it has a very real feel to it. My one major criticism is Fionnula Flanagan. She is so over the top bordering on silly, and there were times I found it uncomfortable watching her performance.

All that being said I would totally recommend it.
