Review of Transamerica (2005) by Alexander Z — 23 Sep 2012
Like many bad comedies, this film features a relatively developed main character thrown into a lot of wacky situations with 1-dimensional characters, except it's "edgy" because it involves a transsexual.
If they wanted to bring to light issues about transgender people (which is a broad term in and of itself), they should have ditched the lame setups and gone for something less quirky.
