Review of Trancers (1984) by April C — 18 Mar 2009

This low-budget sci-fi comedy ain't exactly BLADE RUNNER, but it's fun none the less, thanks to Tim Thomerson's spirited performance as Jack Deth. Young Helen Hunt is also wonderfully goofy as his love interest. Cheap special effects and over-the-top supporting performances are drawbacks.

But it does boast the bullet time effect 15 years before THE MATRIX...
