Review of Trance (2013) by Alex A — 23 Jul 2013
Its plot twists become increasingly improbable and convoluted and the ending is utterly preposterous, but Danny Boyle's "Trance" is still a well shot and unbelievably stylish psychological thriller.
The biggest problems in the movie derive from its script, but its Boyle's kinetic directorial style and a strong ensemble cast that stops the film from collapsing in on itself. Overall "Trance" is a trippy and mostly enjoyable film if you can get passed the flaws in the narrative.
