I won't give away plot spoilers. However, suffice it to say, this movie makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Simon did absolutely nothing to aid and abet the robbery. His participation was unnecessary.

There was nothing he did, or could have done, that made enlisting him in the caper even remotely helpful. There are so many holes and disconnects in the plot topped off by hypnosis hogwash - utter nonsense.
